Artiste en résidence au Service de chirurgie cardio-vasculaire du CHUV, Steffen Schmidt crée des paysages sonores avec pour matériau les éléments concrets enregistrés au hasard de la vie urbaine et de l’hôpital et plus particulièrement lors d’examens médicaux spécialisés. Cet atelier fera part de ses recherches musicales où convergent l’art et la science. Avec la participation du Prof. Ludwig Karl von Segesser, chef du Service de chirurgie cardio-vasculaire, CHUV. Heart and sounds – Sound landscapes

Artist in residence at the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery of the CHUV, Steffen Schmidt creates sound landscapes using as his material concrete elements recorded during the bustle of city and hospital life and more particularly in the course of specialist medical examinations. This workshop will be part of his musical research in which art and science converge. With the participation of Prof. Ludwig Karl von Segesser, Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, CHUV.
